Lucinda Brannon Bazile, Executive Director Lucinda Brannon Bazile is director, policy and special projects, with LifeLong Medical Care, a federally qualified health center serving underserved and uninsured communities. She has more than 20 years' experience in operational and financial management, health policy and planning, and community organizing. She is vice chair for Contra Costa County Managed Care Commission and an active member with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She serves as a mentor with Youthbridge and Health Career Connection. Bazile is an alumna of Blue Shield's Clinic Leadership Institute. |

Norman Banks, MD, Medical Director Dr. Banks has been the Medical Director of Brookside Community Health Center since its inception in 1994. He is a graduate of Georgetown University Medical School, Washington D.C., completed his residency at Georgetown University Hospital and is Board Certified in Family Practice Medicine. Dr. Banks heads the Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement Program at BCHC and was instrumental in initiating participation in the Health Disparities Collaborative. He is moderately fluent in Spanish. |

Mostafa Barakzoy, DDS, Dental Director Dr. Barakzoy has been employed at BCHC since September of 2003. He is a graduate of University of California Los Angeles School of Dentistry and completed a general practice residency at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Barakzoy served five years as a dentist in the U.S. Navy Dental Corp and three years as the Dental Director of a large Community Health Center in central California before becoming the Director at BCHC. He is fluent in Farsi and moderately fluent in Spanish. |

Ruth Vasquez-Jones, Planning & Development Director Mrs. Vasquez has been with BCHC since 2001, initially as Community Affairs Director and now Development Director. Ms. Vasquez-Jones has over 17 years of experience in community relations, fundraising, board and program development as well as grant writing. She has a B.A. in Social Work and Psychology from University of California, at Berkeley. |
